fiber optic front sight

I just recieved a gun from another cgn member and it looks like the front fiber optic sight got damaged in shipping. Is there any way to replace these? the gun is a valtro pm5 but i dont see any easy way of replacing it.

You can purchase the fibre optic replacement rod, I don't know where in Canada you can get it. I purchased some from

Just about any pistol supplier on the above banner should have it or you could try your local archery supplier, they use it too.

on this one it looks like it slides through a hole and they expand it on both ends to hold it in place. Do they do that with heat or some other meathod?

Heat, get a lighter near that stuff and it melts very quickly.
