Fiber replacement

Hello,

I have a fiber front site on my SP01. The fiber has broken off the site.

I do have a rod of replacement fiber. My question is whats the best way to put the fiber in so it stays put and gives me the most light threw it.

Some say Crazy glue, others use a welding iron to melt the ends.
