Fibreglass stocks, what's the market like?

I think the Robertson web site may change shortly with some news that will make many around the world very happy.

Will you be putting pictures on your site that actually show off the quality of your work? :p

I'm a small business owner so I'm allowed to bug you Ian! :D

So did I understand that correctly?

Lets say I have a rem. 700 bdl.

You would
1) Pillar bed (alum. pillars) receiver
2) skim coat bed the bottom metal
3) skim coat seal with epoxy the barrel channel complete

$240 plus GST? That sounds like a bargin! Is that correct?

I always thought Masterclass used your synthetic stocks and they do the channel etc. ..

Thanks

You do get that the price is on top of the cost of the new Robertson stock you just purchased to have those things done to, right? - dan

Looking forward to seeing all these models. Hopefully there are some light sporter models in there, as I have no interest in target stocks...:)

Perhaps even some light sporter models that would fit short action Savage rifles with detachable magazines and the 4.389" measurement from the front action screw to the front trigger guard screw. :)

Regards,

Chizzy

That is what you get for $240 although we paint the barrel channel, no need to "seal" it. Yes we make stocks for Master Class stocks. I am not aware if Alex "seals" the channel or not. Of course if someone really felt the need I would do it, doesn't take much longer than the paint although it adds nothing to the stock. We do the paint for looks only.

Cool

Wow... most informative...

And here I am thinking, "I'm so happy to shoot into an inch with my SPS .223 M700." :D

Thanks for the explanation on the extra quality! :)

Cheers,
Barney
