Fierce Carbon Razor 22LR or 17HMR?

Not much “buzz” about this rimfire rifle (yet). Other than high price, what are you hearing?

It's not just you at at all. Bergara makes the same accuracy claim with their B14-R and the BMX-R Steel and generally exceed that standard by a significant amount with the right ammo. And the latter of those two rifles is on the order of CAD $900.

Have yet to see one and their absence at our 100/200 Metre Rimfire shoot is deafening.

I picked up a fierce Razor 22lr April this year. I have 100 round through it so far of SK match. Best is 1" + groups at 50 yards. Currently looking for a variety of match ammo to see what works best. I have also contacted Fierce and they replied quickly. They noted returning a gun back to the US is difficult,. They would provide a recoil lug and would recommend a gunsmith to adjust headspace. I will try to update as it goes.

My BXR Steel barrel easily shoots that at 50yds with cheap Blazer ammo.

This rifle looks interesting, but unless your using it for hunting you can build a 457 chassis rig with aftermarket barrel, to shoot better and for less $. CZ also offered that carbon stock 457 a year or 2 back. Also less $.

It seems to me that Fierce / Christensen products are a big quality crapshoot that is not worth the risk.Lots of safer options out there.

Purchased a variety of ammo and put them threw. SK rifle +, Aquilla Super Extra, Tac-22 red box, tac-22 red box, SK rifle match, Eley Biathlon, RWS club, Eley sport, Eley Club. Eley club and sport had some great 4 shots groups 3/8"`5/8" but 1 of the 5 opened it up to 3/4".
Set the trigger to 1lbs 10oz, cleaned the barrel and went back out with the red box Tac-22. As per their email their recommendation as its what they use at the factory. Again 4 out of five were real nice but always an outlying flyer. SK rifle match, near the same.
Shooting off an AR250 bench rest and rear bag. Scope is an Arken EP-4 4-24. 50 yards +- little to no wind

most are 10 shot groups as I had at least one flyer per five. shot the next five same spot and same thing.

contacted Fierce again to ask torque specs on receiver screws. Nothing back yet. Has been just over a week.
