Fierce edge reviews

I like when people give reviews and opinions of something that they don’t own. Yes the Fierce rifles are a Sako action clone but that’s where it ends. We have a couple and they are great rifles. Very well built, very accurate and handle very nice. The father in law has the CT edge, not sure if the titanium is worth the extra or not but it’s a great rifle and I guess it’s up to you if the little big of weight difference is worth it to you. The stocks are very solid and the finish on them holds up really well. We shoot ours without the muzzle breaks but the break does do it’s job very well when on. I’m just not a break fan. Then shoot several types of factory ammo under MOA and the barrels clean up very fast. If you have anymore specific question feel free to PM.
 
I have a edge ti, very accurate rifle and it functions well. I found some of the finish work to not be up to snuff compared to a true custom rifle, bottom metal a bit proud and the flutes are not indexed. Mine was one of the early rifles, I heard they did better fitting work later on. Most rifles either have a flute centered on top, or the land centered. Mine is about 1/4 flute off from being indexed. Also same issue as a sako 85 with ejection, it is a but too vertical and hits the bottom of the scope. Mine ejects but gives a good glancing shot to the scope. Also bolt lift can be stiff, with if you are used to a sako 85 then you wouldn’t notice.

But it does produce some very tight groups, and it is one of my favorite hunting stocks. The grip-butt has the right angle and cast-off to fit me very well.

I figured they would have the same ejection issues

Have owned 85's thanks. Same action and Sako has world class barrels, and the Carbonlight has a carbon fibre stock, without the fit issues. Please enlighten us as to why your Fierce is better.
 
He never asked about Sako rifles he asked about Fierce reviews. Again you haven’t owned and maybe haven’t even held a fierce. There are loads of rifles built off a Remington 700 footprint and design, does that make them all the same? I find the fit and finish of the fierce superior to Sako. I far prefer the fierce stock, I find Sako stocks to be cheap and plastic like, and yes even the carbon light (which I’ve held and shot). I find the fierce handle recoil better even without the break, most likely due to the design of the stock. I like the rail attached to the forend of the stock for attaching top of line bipods as well. And the Fierce like mentioned is reliant on silly optilok rings/bases or over priced leupolds that only fit the sako.
 
Early Fierce actions were a bastardized SAKO Clone.
Concave primary extraction cam surface cut in rear receiver ring & bolt handle -blamed by the manufacturer as a faulty extractor.BS!

For $3.5K + USD one would think they could get it correct the first time...or second,or third.

(Christensen Arms uses Pierce actions now also)JUNK X 2.
 
I just recently bought a Fierce Carbon Edge in 6.5 PRC.
Awesome rifle, shoots great, functions great, built great and made in Canada.
Go for it...I'm very happy I did!

The fierce uses r700 rings and bases with #8 screws.
I was concerned about ejection issues but fierce got it right, ejection at pretty much level to the port.
Fierce actions are made as true as any custom action, wire EDM cut on the best equipment out there.
Very light carbon fiber stock...adj. crisp trigger 1-4lbs.
I bought a 85 and returned it, my carbon edge is one of the nicest rifles I own.
I also own a Christensen arms Traverse, the Fierce is a nicer rifle IMO.

Well my dad bought one last year and it was made in Canada... I was just on the site and phone # is in Quebec, the address is also in Quebec, so as long as Quebec is still part of Canada then I think k we can say made in Canada!!
 
I’ve had a TI Edge in 7mm rem mag for 4 or 5 years now. Never had any ejecting problem with it. It didn’t seem to matter what 150 or 160 factory ammo I tried in it, it all shot really well. Even grey box Winchester 150’s were shooting moa. All guns come with a factory test target showing the 1/2 moa, or less, test group and what factory ammo that was used to achieve it. I liked it enough that I bought another TI Edge in 28 Nosler, thinking I’d like to give it a go. It still sits nib as I’ve been shooting 7mm rem mag for 25+ years and haven’t made myself get into the hyper mag. I’m likely going to list it in the EE after Christmas, because I don’t see myself using it.
