Glock 21 (45ACP)
With any one ( or more!) tucked in your belt/IWB/ Drop leg rig...Good to go!:D

For myself, I would choose the 1911A1 .45ACP.

It's the only real choice! It has the history and current following to prove it beyond doubt. The remainder are mere curiosities for the amusement of lesser mortals.

I think it more comes down to what you shoot best with, not what you think everybody else should shoot.

I prefer the M1911 platform because I shoot best with it. I did better with a M1911 frame after a box of ammo than I did with a Browning after a year.

I tried diff pistols and none was so fit in my hand like 1911 from Springfield, Colts to STI.
I love the safety and the trigger and the gun is very well balanced.
.45ACP with good bullet will stop a lot, IMO better then 9mm.

CZ SP-01 Tactical (decocker only). Best handgun for me, so far. Feels great in the hand, and I can actually shoot it well! (Bonus!)

It's beefy all steel construction could also knock out a cow.

Also, it has "Tactical" etched on the slide. Hello? Deadly!
