Perhaps, but I've tried it with so many mags, and almost none drop free. If there was a light mod that would save me from sanding all my mags, including any future ones, it seems like that would be optimal.

Just opened a fresh gen 3 magazine, with a rivet on the spine... no issues in my x95

but yeah, modify the mags, never the gun.

Also, if you're in the NCR, we could meet up and I could try one (or more) of your mags in my rifle to see what/if the issue is/persists.

Isn't easier to just grab the mag and drop it instead of sanding things down? Guaranteed results when you grab and drop....

The way things are going, "assisted mag drops" are probably prohibited... like any kind of fold out cutting implement. /s

Keep in mind it could be the rivet. Tap your rivet in a bit deeper with a hammer and try again.

Thanks for the replies. Im not in NCR but I appreciate the offer.
Im interested in drop free because I'd like to get smooth enough with the tavor to play with it in 3 gun.
