"Fin"ally joined the T3 club!

Joined the t3 club recently as well, after a lifetime of struggling with bad triggers and rifles that needed to be forced to shoot well, I am absolutely in love.

I have nicknamed her the 'whore' cause she will perform for absolutley anybody that gives her the nod.

In an odd twist of fate the t3 has rekindled my interest in exploring new calibres. I see a whole brothel of the wanton fins in my future.

LMAO Best thing I have heard in a while!!!

This is my next purchase t3 lite 270wsm sometime this summer.

One thing about the syn stocks. They are stiff and shoot well, but they aren't pretty. Not ugly either. Do the wood stocks shoot as well. A friend is looking to buy one with a wood stock and I keep toting about how accurate they are. I just hope the wood stocks shoot well also.

G

They shoot just as well, if not better.

The wood stocks have less flex and to me seem more comfortable, the stainless/wood model i bought shoots half inch-3/4'' groups with bluebox federal ammo

The only real concern with the synthetic stock over the wood (aside from aesthetics)IMHO is they are loud. I was originally thinking of filling some of the voids with a light mix of silica/epoxy with air bubbles mixed in. Would quiet it down and if it really mattered would stiffen it. BUT we all know you cannot hope to change a Whore, no matter how much you love her, try and change her and she just might loose the magic that made her so endearing in the first place. the t3 is truly a buy it, sight it and forget it kind of rifle, simply nothing to do or add.

As an aside I mounted a Kahles in a deadnutz reaper mount and am as impressed with the mount as I am with the rifle. The deadnutz game reaper mount is one of the true bargains out there. Aside from perfect machining what sells me on it is that there is not one hard angle or protruding part. Mates with the tikka like thick rouge and fish net on a...........

get buying huntin season is just around the corner and if you don't pay the pimp he'll take someone else's money and you will be singing " its saturday nigth and I aint got no tikka, got some money casue I just got paid.......

I think they are the best hunting rifles going. I have three of them. I have scoped the bores on all of them and tikka has a really nice finish. although it really makes no difference in the accuracy department, it sure keeps them cleaner longer.

I have all mine in stainless/synthetic, and I just run the buggers under a tap to clean it off after hunting :)

Ordered one for my new 6.5 :D

T3 270wsm

Well, I just finally found myself a whore, a T3 lite 270wsm. Can't wait to try her out, just need to find a scope for it. Thinkin I might go with a RedField (not sure witch one) revolution or revenge. Then start finding that perfect load.

So far, the only problem that I have found with this tikka, is that it has turned me off of my stevens 200. Its still a good shooter, but is nowhere close to a tikka.

This thing loves IMR4895, and does'nt mind IMR 4350. Just need to christen it with some elk blood. Is it September yet?

Got my 6.5 in the mail a few days ago, the dednutz mount and rings and a Redfield Revenge 4-12 a couple of days later. Took her out today for barrel break-in and shot
a 1 inch group at 100 yds off of a shaky rest with handloads. 38 grains of 760 under 140 Interlocks. Sweeet!
Should be able to tighten the groups up very easily with a better rest and further load development.

Joining the t3 lite 6.5x55 left handed club. Looking forward to the challenge. Also looking at the redfield revenge club too.

So verified with a chronograph, I am getting 2700 FPS with nosler 165 grain partitions.

This is with a max load of 57 grains of IMR 4350, in the Nosler Reloading book.

Are there other powders I can try with the 165 nosler partition that will go quicker than 2700fps, with tikkas 22 inch barrel?

Anyone have a pet load for 180gr nosler partitions in their tikka 30-06?
