How many of you mosin collectors have a p-27? Just trying to get a feel for how common they are. I have a heavily used example sitting in an american walnut stock.

a friend of mine has one. i think quite a few came in back when international was selling 6 mosins for $120 or whatever the price was back in the 1980's.

It has a two piece stock. The only Finn I own with a 1 piece is an early non-SA marked M/24.

The M27s have a tighter bore than the the other variants which means that one can load .308 diameter bullets rather than the usual.311/312. Mine has the 2 pc arctic beech stock and a Tikka 1937 barrel which is remarkably accurate.I really was'nt interested in them until a guy pestered me into buying mine from him at a show some 16 yrs ago.As I recall, I paid $50-60 for it.Funnily enough the Lapua brass for them runs much more per 100 pcs than I paid for the rifle itself. Anyway,it is a very accurate and satisfying rifle to shoot.
