I finally got all the components I wanted on my CZ and Kryloned it Flat Black. Now I need some advice.

What Components should I put on the side rails. These are going to be more for looks. I will mostly just shoot this at the range and use for a conversation piece.

I am not going to make this easy I would like to know what you think I should put on there and why also link any info on where to get the part realisticly if you think it will make the firearm more tacticool.

I like having a flashlight at 9 o'clock. That way you can thumb it on and off.

It's not necessary for a range-only rifle but if it's your "something is seriously wrong in my house" rifle I think a light is worth having.

Unless of course you are the only person in your house, and there is no chance the police would ever mistakenly enter your house after noticing the front door had blown open in a storm, or a neighbour would run in after a lightning bolt hit his house and blew his phone, and he needs you to call 911 because his wife's heart has stopped...

Maybe it's just me but being able to ID somebody before I kill them seems like a pretty wicked idea!

Anyway if it's just a toy you could put anything you like on there...but if there is a chance you might ever need your toy to help you out in an emergency, then a light on the support side is really worthwhile IMO.

If you can I would move that VFG back...if you grab the gun like you ideally should, you will have your hand in an uncomfortable spot after the shooting starts! But it may be too long to be moved back, in which case personally I'd cut it down or pull it off.

But that is just my "make it run" inclination. To me guns look best when they are rigged to perform.

I do like the nice flat black tone you got!

My vote would be for a good light, Mounted at the 9:00 position (or 3:00 If your left handed like I am)

These are one of the most under rated yet one of the most important items to have a on a tactical use carbine.

For the $'s spent, I beleive it is very hard to go wrong with the SureFire X300 weapons light. A very small foot print, with a terrific output (110 Luminums for the first 2 hours then 80 luminums there after).

(sorry I do not have it on a VZ, but I am working on it!! :D)

I am a very tall person. The fore grip at that position is very comfortable for me 6'3'' 280lbs.

Thanks for all the feed back and keep it coming there is some very interesting suggestions as well as some new directions for my next CZ!!!

The wife will thank you...lol

I know exactly what you are doing with it but if you want to max out your control of the rifle it can't be done from there!

Ideally you want to have a grip that looks something like two fingers on the forearm, two on the VFG. Sort of a 45 degree grip where your hand is ahead of the VFG and you use the VFG to stop your hand from moving back. It's like a thumbs-forward pistol grip.

That is why I say if you're gripping it right it won't be comfortable that far forward...it won't be comfortable because your fingers will be melting!

You only want the "I'm handing you an ice cream cone" grip on a VFG if you have so much gear mounted on your rifle that you can't put your hand anywhere on the normal forestock. Otherwise get your hand further up man!

keep the vert grip, I don't think you NEED any more accessories, your rifle looks superb as is (not a big fan of the stock) but I'm sure it serves its purpose! If you must, throw a nice little laser on there.

Question relatively Bipods which set on the barrel of carbine.

As for me, this is the accessory I most want.

Question.
Question relatively Bipods which set on the barrel of carbine.
As it affects barrel.
What councils of setting Bipods on the barrel of carbines or rifles,
-AFTER and AGAINST.

.. Not preferred, many military units do it. You'll never see it on a sniper rifle (almost).. For a GPMG.. it's an area weapon, it's not that big of a deal. Sometimes you work with what you have.

..I've seen worse.
