So i got back into town today and im planning to take my newly built Ar to the range thus week...it has never chambered a round yet so...

What are some final pre shoot checks i should do before i attempt to fire this thing?

Or do i just lock and load?

Careful! These guys are trying to trick you into damaging your shiny new AR!

Before being fired, all ARs must be dipped in blood. Don't forget your latin infused "chant of my lai" and ceremonial gong. Make sure the barrel is pointed south the first time you go through the process, but east every time afterwards going to and from the range.

Then you should be good to go!

(Thats why I prefer the Tavor. The only pre-range ceremony it needs is to be hoisted up on a chair once or twice)

Aww crap! I knew I forgot to do something... I just infused it with the spirit of the Old Ones, and called on Cathulhu to first off my first mag.

Damn... I knew I should have checked CGN first

Though, I suppose the only real thing you want to check (if at all) is that it chambers a dummy round no problem....

You mean you didn't break glasses on the floor and dance to Hava Nagila on them before you shot your Tavor?

Ok done!
