Finally, a sale... Thanks for this Boxing day sale... ....

As a vet, I find sales offered for veterans as a "thanks", very nice, and see no rhyme or reason why a business should keep their doors closed.

Dear Shin_Gunto,

This is a perfectly good example of accepting differences in society due solely from the sacrifices of others:

Why do we close? Well it is simple: As a former soldier myself, I want all of my staff to be able to attend (as I do) a service / ceremony of Remembrance. To do so, we must close.

You can show your respect your way, we'll do it ours.

I also like swinging by the Legion to enjoy some "old boy camaraderie" after the service. If that's good enough for me, why not allow my staff to do the same.

Most Rememberance Day sales are only offered to acting or retired CF members, in my opinion it is a good thing, on the other hand closing a store so every staff member can attend a ceremony is awesome, very good initiative.

Can't help share your sentiment as a former soldier who is just one in a long line of soldiers. All the best to you and staff and a prayer to my father and grandfather who served in WW11 and WW! respecfully and are no longer with us.
