I've waited for years for CZ to finally produce these and get these into our hands in Canada! I owned the 452 "Style" but it's nickel plating wasn't the same as true stainless, and the plastic of the stock was less than ideal.

I've got around 150 through the stainless so far, and accuracy has been good right out of the gate (this one is a 17 HMR). The black nitride bolt shows very little evidence of friction so far. The stock has a soft yet firm/grippy texture, which is very nice. The light contour barrel makes for a very carry-friendly package (I'm used to the varmint contour barrels), and every inch of it has been made from (or treated with) materials that should make it very resistant to moisture.

I got mine from Prophet River if anyone else is interested in one!

I picked one up as well from PR. Very impressed with the fit and finishing and like the feel of the stock. Just waiting on a set of rings then I can test it out.

Looks very nice. I'd be curious to see what the stock looked like with the action removed? Not sure if anyone feels like doing this. Is it pillar bedded?

Definitely not pillar bedded, and as a result it's something that would be worth doing in the future. CZ set the front action screw at a very low torque value...to the point where it's almost a concern for backing out IMO. I've had the stock off a few times already, I'll get a pic next time.

Thanks G.
I would love to grab one in 22lr if they come around. Interesting regarding the torque value. I would definitely have to play around with that to see if it grouped well with higher torque.

Thought I'd update and give a short review

Well got this one on its maiden voyage after mounting an older scope on it to see ( looks pretty fancy :) ) was cold and snowing so I fabbed up a rest with a cardboard box and some skidoo mitts! and shot out the window of the cabin. Some potential here and looks like I didn't get a dud, stretching out to 50 will tell the tale but seems OK with the SK. I wanted the Pistol match to shoot good but think it might be over the sound barrier out of the longer barrel. Will revisit that ammo later with a better scope, longer range and maybe some warmer weather! I suspect it will meet the 1/2" @ 50 challenge.
