No fault of BassPro really, they had to abide by the City and what the City wanted, it was along the lines of the community as well, they were against it, as was the councilor in the area, so BassPro really had a lot of groups against them selling handguns and items for handguns
BassPro was not for it, but wanted to have a store in that location.....
One of those, between a rock and a hard place....
I was in Calgary a few days ago at their Bass Pro, specificaly looking for reloading supplies, and I scraped up a few hundred dollars to get well stocked up. The store is VAST and yet they had only a 4'x4' section for bullets, most of which was empty. I was totally unimpressed, I bought nothing.
We are currently renovating our retail area to make room for a HUGE selection of reloading supplies:
Equipment
Powder
Primers
Cases
Bullets.... etc....
We have built a larger (now approved) "magazine" so we can have a wack of powder on hand...
Give us a couple of months though to get it all sorted.

Just visited Basspro in Vaughan (North of Toronto). They now have 2 isles dedicated to reloading, which is not bad IMO. About 50% of shelf space has those white stickers, indicating stock that hasn't arrived yet. Prices are slightly higher than what we're used to, but no shipping so if you need something quick its not so bad. They also have some Hodgdon & IMR powders for $32-$37 / lb. They DO have some Lee & RCBS pistol dies, like .45ACP & 9mm Makarov(go figure), and will have the 9mm Luger as well (the white stickers are there). All in all, not bad...
Screw BassPro, there are member dealers here that have supplies.
Mind you they couldn't tell me if RCBS or Hornady shell holders were compatible with my Lee press (I knew but forgot), but they were trying to be helpful...
AFAIK, they are all compatible, LOL. I was being a PITA trying to test these guysi use an rcbs shellholder on my anniversary press.
