So, I was deciding on the Sig P226 Elite 9mm vs regular. Holding both of them was the deciding factor. Elite grip was way too fat for my liking. Then, wanted regular with night sites, but came to the conclusion that when on Earth will I need night sites? Never, plus they'll fade. But I do like the 3 dot compared to the contrast sites (1 dot and rectangle). Saving the $100 plus for contrast leaves me with more ammo. I fired 1000+ with night sights and I like the 3 dot, but I'll get used to contrast in no time.

Pics coming soon (hopefully) when I can pick it up next week!

But I still want a tactical light. Any recommendations? Way cooler than night sights. Kinda defeats to purpose. Tactical light and no night sights, what on earth were you thinking!?

No, I didn't get the Elite, due to the fat grips or b/c I have small hands. I ended up with regular P226 /w rail and contrast sights.

I fired Glock 19 and P226 plenty to get an understanding between the two. They both feel the same to me, except that the Glock is lighter. I actually wanted the Glock 17. However, I wanted an all metal gun so I had to choose the sig due to its reputation. :)

Thanks all! I'm sure I'll be happy! Can't wait to pick up it soon!

Jordi09: Have you watched nutnfancy's review on P226 vs Glock 17? Both are amazing pistols. Just a matter of what you like more. I don't want to go drop more $$$ on another 9mm, so I'll probably end up with a Glock that eats 40s. :)

Of course, Sigs cost more but I wanted all metal frame, DA/SA for my first handgun, so I had to choose the Sig. :) Still, it was a tough decision. Wanted a Glock 17 too.

Here it is! Kinda have a bit of buyer's remorse since I didn't learn about the Sig Classics in time. I may go for that in the future. P229 or P220 Classic. :) It's almost like getting the .22lr conversion kit for free!
