Finally dropped a long awaited eastern coyote!

Very cool. Congrats on your success. I have never been out for coyote yet but I hope to change that soon!

Cheers

Very interesting story and results from that 308 against that Eastern Coyote !
Hope the dry spell is over and your able to find a few more dogs to target.
I see that goose was a fan of yours as well .
Thanks for sharing !

In Ontario, FMJ is legal for hunting.

Surprised that one stayed in the yote, probably had to go through lengthwise and hitting a bone made it expand. If that was to exit it probably would have been messy.

Thanks for sharing. Hoping to get out this year with my .243 for some yotes.

Well it wasn't my first coyote but its been a loooong time since I have gotten one. and "berger" Sierra Match Kings aren't fmj as shown in the photo. I also took a doe this year with the same rounds but was a full pass through.

Cool,thx. Wasn't sure. :)

Not trying to beleaguer the point or be a ####, but the Sierra Matchkings are FMJ bullets. I had to view the picture on my PC rather than my phone. They are hollow points yes, but they are FMjs, albeit thin.

For a coyote, cool, just not sure you should be using them on a deer.

Although they are recognized around the world for record-setting accuracy, MatchKing bullets are not recommended for hunting.
