Thanks for putting up the photos of your completed project, I do like how it turned out.
I've done two rifles using Stuart's stocks now and have really liked both of them. As you noted they do require finishing but the fit on the two I've dealt with was quite close I found.
If you care to comment and I'm only hoping to learn here, was there a specific reason you went with a King barrel as opposed to say a Gaillard or RKS?
Over the years I've been present when some very large deer have been taken with a .25-06 and recently been there when more medium and smaller deer died in front of our youngest daughter's .250AI. The .25's certainly are working fine on BC deer anyway, but I know they are smaller overall than the prairie versions.
