You guys got the same sickness as me I guess. That is one of my "Holy Grail" type rifles!! It was built on the 6 lug action and the one in the catalogue was stunning. I'll have to see if I can dig it up and read the ad again. I have never seen one anywhere and google brings up very little on this model. Makes me think they never did get going but I guess a call to Weatherby would answer that.

Prophet river had some beautiful ruger internationals in 250-3000 a while back. Still kicking myself for not getting one.

I got one of those, superb little rifle.

I still have the catalogue - I believe it was 1994. I guess at least one was made as they had to take a picture of something!

Maybe it didn't catch on because it wasn't chambered for a whiz bang .257 Weatherby. Weatherby has always marketed their stuff as "Tomorrow's Rifles Today" so nostalgia isn't their strong suite.
