Finally got a day out with my SKS!

A MICRO gap. I can turn the front focus ring no problem. Its the closest I have ever seen a scope to a rail. If I angle it just right with a light source behind it I can see that gap. But like I said it doesn't actually touch so I consider myself lucky
 
Nice gun, don't worry about the corrosive ammo too much just thoroughly clean it and ur baby will be fine they are meant to shoot corrosive
