Did you cut the foam yourself, or is it available pre-cut? Pelican is the number one choice for survey instruments. I've never seen one fail. I have a good one left from my surveying days, but the foam is so expensive I haven't set it up for firearms.
the 1620 came with the pluck out foam.. so you just pull out what you want... my 1700 case had solid foam.. so i had to cut that with a knife.. the foam replacement is like $40 for the 1620 I think
It has wheels and a extend able handle so it's like a suitcase.. I just picked it off a guy via craigslist. but you can order from the USA for around $220.
But it also depends on who you buy from... locally it varies at MEC @$400ish and to smaller places $250-270ish... online 170+ depending.. but the cheaper ones wouldn't ship to Canada.. so I was jsut going to send it to my US drop box.. but picked mine up local for $200.. so I was happy.
Optimal cases and lights has them for about $280. They are the Canadian Pelican and Harigg distributor, and they have free shipping wherever Purolator delivers in Canada.
Very nice case! I was actually contemplating a case like that myself. I didn't know if it was legal to transport a few pistols in the same case without trigger locks.

You still need trigger locks. If you look closely all of them have locks on em. The funky opening on the foam in the spots where there is no gun are for sliding the gun with lock in
