If you still have your owners manual, you can usually get a part number at the back - then order whatever you need. Brownells, and WGP both have some in-stock.

A set screw and wicking loctite is the way to go. You can set windage at the range with the set screw and then douse it with the green stuff and forget about it.

The VX-3 1.75-6 and VX-3 2.5-8 will work nicely.

I bought a zeiss conquest 3-9x40 for it.

The rear sight is wind age adjustable with a gib - same idea as rugers rear sight. I made a robust rear blade (actually several) that I will file to height and finish them black.

After playing with this thing for a few days, I decided I gotta make another barrel band swivel stud. It's gonna be real interesting getting the front sight off..... Pics to come.

Is the recoil the issue with the front swivel? Or is just for looks to go back to the barrel band. Imo they look very nice on mid contour barrels.

Traditionally I think it was for recoil, but in this case it's for looks.
