Finally got my Mosin and scope sighted in.

The shot down and to the left of the main group was from my son and the Enfield. I was aiming for the cross hairs and shooting from a bit lower than the target itself. Going by the scale on the edge lookes like about 1 1/4in at 75 yards. Not bad for a combined $200! Its just nice to see some decent groupings start to come together.

MFS SP 203gr, off a bench. 2-7x30 cheap ass scope.

If you were to handload I'm sure you could tighten up those groups. I too would be interested to hear your scope setup. I run the ultimate Mosin scope kit from Hical on mine.

Cant believe I havent posted pics of this project since I finished it. The gouges on the side of the scope mount were my screw up, too many wobbly pops prior to cutting the reliefs. If you look at the mount you will see that I relieved a groove for the rear iron sight mount post(?), so it locks the mount from walking forwards with the recoil. The mount itself clamps onto the rear sight dovetail. Oh and if any one has some replacement caps for the adjusters, i'd be deeply indebted, i left mine at the range the first time I went out to try to get this package zeroed in. Its an AIM 2-7x30.
