I finally made it to the range on the weekend with the new-to-me CZ 75B. With three brands of ammo (all 124 gr) and some targets, I was all set to go. I wasn't disappointed. 150 rounds fired perfectly, and I was consistently hitting about level with the bull, but slightly right. I could cover the groups with my fist. I was shooting at about 30 ft, I'm guessing. Trigger was very nice.
Then I noticed the metal plate downrange about 50 yds or so, about the size of a pizza. What the hell, I thought, and fired a shot.
BANG ding!
BANG ding!
BANG ding!
BANG ding!
BANG ding!
I could hit it about 8/10 times! So, the first outing was very enjoyable. The gun worked flawlessly, and I was hitting pretty much where I wanted to. Lots of work yet, but it's a great beginning!
