FINALLY, I can use my AR on a regular basis

For folks that have never been there, Maple Leaf is a small range. I was a member there over 30 years ago. I have a friend who has been a member there all of that time. He would have voted for the increased round count and so would I, if I were still there. I'm happy to hear that restricted rifles have been accepted there. That's progress.

rifles where never allowed for some reason, yet I could bring in a mini-14 that is pretty much the same at an AR when it comes to caliber and action so it never made any sense.

Or you could shoot an M1 Carbine with an 18.6 inch barrel, but not one with an 18 inch barrel. Literally the same gun, but a fraction of an inch precludes one from being fired at the range.

This also works to demonstrate the idiocy of restricted barrel length laws.

Ever since this thread started, I've ensured to take my AR along each time I go shooting...
