Finally made the jump for green rifle

Just ordered, few days ago, a SIG Classic green from P&D... should be in tuesday.... can't wait

And better, my wife told that she would pay for it... for father's day

You guys have any tips on maintenance, bullets and accessories...
Do i need to break in the barrel (it will mainly be used for precision shooting)?
I'll get the one that is non-restricted (20")

Awesome. I just got mine (RRA 24" HBAR) a while ago and I really enjoy it. I didnt do any barrel break in with mine (RRA said barrel break in not necessary with mine). There are a few threads on here for barrel break in and it seems to be a personal choice. Some say yes some say not necessary.

Don't drink beers (to many I should say) while field stripping it...lol. Kinda tricky putting it together

Does-it need special tools to strip it??

no need to break in the barrel, and no tools required to strip it.

And by the way: do not drop it on the charging handle, at least not on concrete. Just broke mine doing so.

na...I am TOOL and figured it out And make SURE the charging handle is not locked back b4 taking the pins out...Being the tool that Iam, I almost 'Garand'ed' my finger!
