Well, almost. Waiting for a trigger, but FTF problem due the light striking is gone. I've modified .223 pin couple of days ago - shaved about .007 of the back as other users have suggested and removed some material from the end of the pin to make it protrude more. As a result - not a single FTF for 100 rounds of Romanian surplus and MFS green steel case. I also have obtained a special 7.62 pin that already utilize those mods, but done in the machine shop. This pin ran for another 300 rounds with no error. I've tried with the different lower that has a regular hammer spring and it worked trough 2 magazines without a hiccup. So, I am very happy now that it runs reliably and pretty dan accurate. So, if you want to get a reliable 7.62 upper - get 2 things that will eliminate all the annoyances related to shooting surplus - LMT 7.62 bolt and special 7.62 pin ( or mod it yourself).
