Finally! Poachers Handed Substantial Convictions

This thread is about a group of poachers who got caught, not native hunting rights. Lets stay on topic. You can argue the native hunting rights in a thread dedicated to that topic!

Thanks spank, there seems to be lot of hate in the hunting forum lately. As you can see it gets directed at a specific group even when the topic at hand has nothing to do with that group. Sad....

Back to the topic, the penalties for most fish and game violations need to be stiffened up. At one time when game seemed to be limitless it might not have needed a big stick, but now that we are seeing the decline of our nations resources and wildlife we really need to work towards saving and protecting it.

I'm not the one who brought First Nations into this thread
I totally agree if anyone who does not fully utilize the meat rightfully should be charged regardless of their cultural back ground
But at the same time I do not see anything wrong with a man who needs to feed his family taking what he needs even if he is non-native

Nobody said you brought up the topic and if you look back through the posts you will see I said this is not about native or non native rights TWICE now!!

I wasn't talking about you spank I realize you have been attempting to stop this thread heading down that road
I just hate it when it turns into native versus non-native issues Which is the way this thread is headed
I just hope people realize we are part of the hunting community and we have young native children reading these threads as they are also part of our hunting community to !
