Wow, loaded question.

-Several bencrest records
-Quotes from articles written about this smith;

""Clay Spencer-built 6mm BR to victory. With his Hall-actioned hammer, Harold has also shot the best-ever target in the history of the competition. This week Harold reports on what it takes to dominate one of America's most popular shooting matches""

-1/4 " accuracy guaranty. On most rifles.
-Builds sniper rifles for the FBI in 308 Special Match
-Knows his #### and wont bull#### you.
-Built Vern Harrisons 308, sniper instructor, Same as mine BTW. Vern has told me the rifle will shoot 1/2 moa at 1000 yards all day. vern gave me his load, cool!!
- He is reasonnably priced.
-He's always easy to contact.
-recommended an excellent exporter
-He is well respected with high end rifle manufacturer
-Excellent references.

Now that is

what I say is a CLASS A rifle.

More people need to look at aftermarket actions instead of trying to make factory productions shoot buy spending the money accurizing them. If I look at the money in my Rem 700 6BR I could have had one built on a aftermarket action like my 6PPC on a BAT.

Update

Went to the range today and after working some loads and here are my 2 best 3 shot groups out of 10 groups shot. Off bipod and sand bag at 300 yards.

I was shedding some tears of joy.
I think the technical term is , "shoots like a house on fire"

Those are some damn fine groups. Those of us who live in Lethbridge learn to deal with the wind (though some learn better than others).

Great shooting and love the gun !!

Yeah, and for once it wasn't windy today. lol

groups like that never happen on the usual lethbridge days

There is something special about a rifle created from your own imagination. During the long wait and diminished bank account sometimes we wonder if we made the right decision, but then the day comes, and when you've opened the box, you know it was all worth it.
