Finding .30 cal metal ammo cans?

What's the deal these days and there only being metal 50 cal cans on the market. Cabela's strictly a green 50 cal can. Canadian Tire black 50 cal cans. The only 30 cal cans I'm finding are plastic cans, other than amazon but let's be real $40-$75 for a can on amazon is outrageous. Am I missing something or are the 30 cal metal cans just a thing of the past.

Princess Auto carries both surplus (used) cans as well as new production. Surplus regularly goes on sale for like $12 each and brand new go on sale for like $16 each

I regularly joke with Ms. OD that Princess Auto has ammo cans on special....
I, for the moment, have enough.


Check with your local friendly PA store, or the website would be my suggestion.

Princess auto always has lots. I bought my 30 cals from various military surplus stores when they were $10 or under.
