Finding Flintlock Rifles in Ontario/Online

Sean Cast your own brass. Frank just did a little article on the topic on the contemporary longrifle association group. He even gives formulas to calculate your master patter size to allow for shrinkage. I knew a smith back home who used to sand cast all his own. Also made his own barrels and rifled them. Something I plan on tooling up for in the next couple years.

The hardware I’m using is by Reeves Goehring. I wish I knew where he got the pure brass. When he went to shows years ago he had a trigger guard that he carried everywhere with him. It was tied in a knot. His brass was buttery soft. And works unlike any mass produced hardware I’ve ever used.

I'd like to thank everyone for their responses, I've been reading and searching constantly over the past week and I'e been making some progress.
Deer Creek and Dixie Guns are probably my choices for over the border orders, and i just got my equipment exchange permissions so there's that!

It also just so happens Cabela's has started stocking the Kentucky rifle again so the possibilities are expanding.

Again, thank y'all for your help, and keep an eye out for a new proud flintlock owner thread in the coming weeks!

Corlanes in Dawson Creek BC have a Lyman .54 Great Plains Flintlock for $850 and a Deerstalker .50 for $720. Free shipping over $500.
I really like the looks of that Deerstalker.
