I've got one magazine for my grandfather's byf '42 Luger. I'd like to shoot it more, including IPSC or IPDA, so what magazines can I get and where?
From what I've read online, original mags are $100 or more, but there are these Mec-Gar reproduction mags which can be found on US websites for $25. Any ideas if these can be found in Canada, or if such things can be shipped from the US? I've never bought gun stuff online so I have no idea.

Triple K Manufacturing have a variety (blued, SS, with or without wood bottom) and they ship to Canada.

Just a FYI

Being able to buy gun parts from the US isn't about you being able to bring them into Canada....It's about the seller being licensed to export them from the US. That's why a lot of online sellers in the US won't ship to Canada. They haven't jumped through the hoops to get licensed to export by the US State Dept.

Good morning Young_Gun.
It is not a good idea to use your Luger for IPSC.
1) you will need at least 6 mags,
2) 5 mags holders,
3) a loading tool,

And, to top it all, poor sights and a heavy risk of broking the firing pin when you "hammer down and holster" on an empty chamber.
