I've been having a lot of trouble finding a replacement for that terrible stock that came with my Norinco M-14. What I want is a USGI fiberglass stock, but a friend of mine claims that you can't get them anymore. Does anyone know where I could order a USGI fiberglass or wood stock?

Does anyone know of any different stock options that are reasonably priced?

They are getting hard to find.....I happen to have a USGI walnut stock available..I paid 100 dollars for it, it is a project. It has the fiber-glass coating on most of it , which would need to be removed. It has the selector hole in it as well!!P.M. me if your interested!

If you need anything again try the EE or post a WTB ad in the EE.I had one FS in the EE and there were others but they do tend to sell quickly.Fortunately 45ACPKING is able to help you out.
Good Luck.

Try stocky's they'll ship to canada and they great prices

stockysstocks (add the apropriate w's and the .com) have repro wood stocks for the m1A

ordering a stock off ebay can you slapped by the u.s. parts police.... wether the seller ships to canada or not..... I speak from experience. If it's a usgi stock, it's a military gun part period, and banned for export. If that'a risk yer willing to take.... the internet would be the last place you should talk about it ;)
I am eventually going to be bringing my 3 custom M14 stocks to CGN as a dealer but have been getting things all in order to do so and be ready for the demands i may face once i bring my stocks to market. There have also been certain legal hurdles to look after when bringing new products to market and opening a new business.
Evilgeniusdesigns will be online soon. ;)

M1 stock will not fit an M14S

Does the M1 Garand stock set fit the M305?

Good initiative, unfortunate answer. The M14 rifle developed from the M1 Garand, however the number of common parts is negligible. For example, the M14 has a much longer foreend. The M14 trigger group has short prongs on either side of the magazine opening, where the M1 has a big solid bottom.

You are welcome to try converting an M1 stock to fit an M14, but it will be too much effort for too little return.

"...Garand stock set fit the M305?..." No.
"...banned for export..." Restricted for export. The seller can get the U.S. permit with time and effort. Most won't bother. M1A stocks have no such issue.
