Fine Graphite Powder For Sizing Lube?

Hey all.

Picked up a small container of fine graphite powder for neck sizing. To do the inside and out.

Any kind of problems with this?

Messy as hell, don't use too much, I would use very little on a Q-tip and just do inside the neck.

if you are going to use this, get some fine (sandblasting) glass beads and mix it in and then dip the case neck in the beads, makes for a nice fine coating

Put some small shot shell pellets in the powder , does the same as the glass beads !!

Redding sells some dry case neck lube,it's probably graphite of some sort. Works great.

Actually Gate, I think it is powdered MICA dust, I use the stuff that LYMAN sells,but I beleive that is what Redding sells too it works great and not dirty like the graphite is !!!

Was gonna dip the top half of the case into the container and go from there.

I have seen the stuff that Gatehouse mentions on the net but not in person. So I thought the graphite would be a good temporary means...............

I use the Lyman motor mica bought the little kit with 3 different brushes many moons ago for $10 still on the original little bottle of powder. Works great.
