Hey Guys

Looking for some advice... I have been doing some load developing first off I shoot a 300 RUM I'm loaded with 89.6 GR of retumbo 230Gr Berger Hybrid bullet, I measured my head spacing came up with 3.6200. Every book calls for the 300 RUM to be 3.600 I did all my testing with bullets seated at 3.600 just want to see if I can get any more. Should I bother messing with it I'm shooting Sub MOA at 200Yards. Or try 5 at 3.5900, 3.6000, 3.6100 and 3.6200.

Thanks guys

3.6 would be the minimum length. Some bullets like a jump, some dont. You've got a 20 thou jump, so you could come out a bit.

I am not familliar with that bullet so I amy be out of turn here. If your just doing targets / long range stuff (single feeding them )...try it.
If you are hunting with this combo you need to check that you have plenty of mag. clearance, & how this may effect fast feeding. say a fast follow up shot. something to consider.

I have never loaded as short as 3.6" for either of my 300RUM rifles. I start .010" off of the lands with cup and core bullets, and .050" off of the lands with Barnes. I haven't used the Hybrids, and am not a Berger fan, but the Berger VLDs that I did try in a few rifles, shot best when seated into the lands.
