Finest Crosshair? And, What power do you use for 200-600?

I currently have a Bushnell 3200. I'm happy with the glass, for what it is, but I am wondering if there are thinner reticles out there?

I'm also wondering if I should look into something higher than the 15x my scope goes up to. I know that's a personal decision, but I don't want to get into super expensive scopes and I'm just concerned that anything greater than 15x is a waste of money when it comes to midlevel-priced type scopes since the glass might not be up to the task.

If you try a Sightron Big Sky 36X, it have the thinnest crossairs i have and you will see it is not a waiste of money over 15 X... JP.

I was looking at one. Just wondering how long it takes to aquire a target at 36x. LOL... I'd imagine it can take a while sometimes!

At 100 could take a few secs... but at 500 it is like have it in front of you, good product... JP.

I have several Bushnell 4200's in 6 x 24 with the fine crosshairs & dot & also a Weaver T36 & a V24 with the similar reticle.

I use these for target shooting , 100 to 300 meters they are not "high end" scopes but they get the job done.
