finish for aluminum

I have got a Nork CQ311 that has the fugly grey panit crap on it and I would like to refinish it in a flat black etc....... what would anyone recomend?

well how about either powerd coating or if you can find some one to anodizeing it ..i would go with anodizing looks nice

Look in the Yellow Pages for metal finishers. Call a few and ask if they do firearms. Most will not due to licencing issues. Plan 'B' is a can of BBQ paint. It's cheap, usually flat black, made for Al and high temperatures.

You can get alluminum black, works like blue on steel. Birchwood casey sells it.
