Finish of a Cooey 75

I picked up a cooey model 75, and was looking to redue the barrel finish as it is mostly worn. It doesn't look like it blued though, maybe Parkerized. Can anyone confirm what the finish is?

Not without pics. But, the only Cooeys I have seen that had a somewhat parkerized finish are some of the Cooey model 82's that were used for military training. If your 75 has a parkerized finish, then I am almost certain that someone refinished it.

Standard was a conventional blue.

The M75 had a blue barrel ...... am re-doing a M75 now. Have cut the bloated for-end down to size, and trimmed it up. With the 27" barrel, and shaped stock, the M75 looks very much in proportion. Have inletted the trigger guard, and will use sling swivel studs also. Are you going to re-vamp yours too?
