Just finished Black Badge course at AMA club in Dartmouth, NS.

Awesome course and great instructors. Great 2 days, lots of shooting and learning.

Looking forward to first IPSC match.

Glad you had a blast.. Get your probationary shoot outta the way sooner rather than later. Don't worry about the score or time. Just focus on shooting it safely and you'll do just fine. Speed and accuracy will come on their own, with practice.. Lots and lots of practice

I'll second that Kevin!
I was there too. Had a great time learned a lot and really enjoyed myself.

The guys instructing us were great and made the process very enjoyable.

Hoping to make that match at AMA at the end of the month.

Andy.

BTW Kevin, I have 3 of your 9mm cases. They fit inside 10mm cases nicely....
(also, I swiped the score sheet from the mini match as a souvenir, don't tell anybody...)

Hey Kevin, I was there too (James). I learned a lot. The instructors were a good bunch of guys and very helpful.

I haven't stopped thinking about IPSC since.. lol

Congratulations guys! If you want to get a good start in the training process I recommend 3GM DVD's 1 and 2. 3 Grand masters. This will help with terminology and basics you can practice at home. Dry fire is your friend . Since I went full tard for IPSC I purchased the SureStrike 9 mm. laser trainer from Laser ammo. I practice with it 5-10 mins a day and haven't stopped getting better. There are other laser aids but the service from Laser ammo has been excellent.
Good shooting.

I am thinking of getting BB, but I have few questions since I just want BB so I can shoot from holster at ranges. I don't have time to get in to IPSC for now.
My question is does BB expires if annual fee's are not paid or if I don't enter any matches. Thanks

Well, you have to enter at least one match to actually get your BB.
They really prefer that you take the course because you're interested in IPSC.
