Hey guys,

Check out my latest AR15 build.... I've been working on getting all the parts for this build for a few months now.

It's actually not too heavy for a CQB SHTF build and I'm very happy with how it turned out.

The last thing I'm doing to it is switching out the SF M900a head with a KL6 LED head and getting it modded with a Seoul SSC-P4 emitter for about 130 Lumens (2 hour runtime) of white light (for the flashaholics out there! :D)

Components:

+ LMT 10.5" AR15
+ Troy 9" FF Rail
+ Noveske KX3 Flash Suppressor
+ Magpul CTR stock
+ Magpul PMAG /window
+ Magpul MIAD grip
+ EOTech 512
+ Surefire M900a Weapon light
+ Troy flip-up sights

Sweet looking rig. I love the Noveske addition. But, wouldn't you want a longer barrel for better terminal ballistics in a true SHTF scenario?

Sure a longer barrel could help, though I'm sure this setup would be adequate to a few hundred meters ... I'll just hope that s**t never does hit the fan - she's a safe queen anyway LOL :D

Great build. I think you forget that our goverment is here to protect us.

Looks like a good setup for CQB SHTF stuff. The hardest thing about building ARs is sourcing the damn parts. So far I've managed to secure almost all the parts I need for my upcoming SHTF build, except for the UBR. Getting that stock is going to cost me a lot of trouble....or a lot of money :D

Actually it's "good" for about 50m for acceptable terminal effect, beyond that you are poking .22 cal holes in things...not effective at all for a SHTF scenario.

Are you saying it won't put somebody down beyond 50m? Im genuinely curious because I have an 11.5" myself and always wonder just how "effective" it is at certain ranges.
