Snowing up a storm here today so no test shooting until the weather clears

Lakefield single shot .22 LR, custom stock built by a fellow from Toronto, Butt Plate is my creation, Redfield aperture sight.

Cheek piece was too high? It kinda look unfinished like that, or missing something. It would look better if it was stained like the rest of it or with a different (soft) material i guess.

The butt plate looks odd but I bet it's super stable. This piece also would look better with a more even finish either all brushed or polised or even painted.

I had not fired the gun until after building it up with found parts. The trigger was just terrible so my first shoot was not impressive. I have the trigger tuned now but have to wait for better weather before trying it again.
