just got my 270 all ready for hunting season, how does it look?

Looks good, but how's about a few more details. I only have one comment, and again .... just me, loose the bi-pod. You'll soon learn to hate that twitchy twangy contraption on your big game rifle. It adds weight and will never extend to any lenght suitable to be of any use. There OK on varmint guns, but no my cup of tea on big game rigs.
 
I like that sling, it looks like a comfort sling to me, the neoprene works great for both dealing with the weight on your shoulder and for staying there.
 
well its a savage 270 with a 3x9x40 bushnell 3200, the bipod is a 10-20 inch
self retracting.well as for the range report it is getting about 1/2 inch groups at 100 yards using my hand loads of course.ill post some range pics soon.
