The Finns didn't make any Mosins. They bought, traded, and captured many thousands and, when time permitted or war demanded, they refurbished, rebuilt, and spruced them up. Some came out as beautiful rifles and many have a wonderful trail of ownership and use. I have one old girl on a French receiver, several American, and, of course, Russian.
Anyone buying those old rifles would do well to make sure they know what they have. Most of you know the story of my SAT barreled M91.......
