I finally got around to getting the M39 out again, this time with a taller front sight blade bought off of another forum member here.
This 76 year old iron sighted rifle can still shoot, and probably better than I can.
I've only shot this rifle a half dozen or so times because the front sight was too short, and the results were pissing me off. Here's hoping I can tighten the groups up if I do my part and find the proper load. I'm loving this rifle and the potential.
