The model 91/24 or "Lotta Rifle". One of the Finns first attempts at improving the Mosin. Improvements included a plate screwed on to the rear sight for better sight picture, coiled spring added to trigger to give two stage pull, special cross-bolt ahead of upper band, and, of course, most had a heavier barrel than standard. Most of the ones I've encountered are bedded traditionally without the use of shims. All that has to be numbered to match on this model is the bolt, sometimes on the knob, sometimes on the side. Many of these were refurbished post-war so you run into examples that have lost many of the original features. As Kjohn said, a real gem. I had 4 of them and used 3 at the range, one of which is extremely accurate. As to value, at auction one of these might go above $1000 but they are not as in demand as the far more common M39's. Personally I wouldn't sell it for less than $900.
