Finnish mosin M39 value

$1500? Personally I would only consider paying that for one that is fully original and not a post-war refurb. People tend to forget that Finn Mosins are also present in wildly different states of originality. Finland continued to use and refurbish (and even build) Mosins for a long time after WW2.

The confounding factor in price discussions is inflation in my opinion.I just saw a used truck on the lot that is pretty much identical to my 2 year old truck. They are asking $6,000 more than i paid for mine new. They appear to be getting what they ask for them. Seems a good time to sell, bad time to buy.Probably is better only sell what you are sure you are not ever want to have again in the future, cause you are going to pay big time. I like Finnish M39's , I wouldn't sell any of them for $1,800 cause I don't want to try and buy it back next year for $2,200.

Ordered a Dodge Grand Caravan aka Pacifica late Summer, it finally came in in December, but they wanted $6,000.00 more than the price they originally quoted to me. I told them to forget about it, I don't want it at that price! I will just keep driving my old one for now.

Mine is a 1943 SKY marked with a Sako barrel. A great cast bullet shooter. Will be for sale down the road a bit. Paid less than a hundred bucks from International Firearms a long time ago. Still shoot it occasionally .

How about $250 and a nice, healthy profit for you? :D
