Finnlight

IMO the Sako Finnlight is the much nicer rifle. They will both shoot the same so there is the argument I suppose. Pay double for pretty or pay half for fugly. I have never owned a Tikka or Sako that needed to be accurized all mine have been shooters...

I went halfway and bought the Sako A7 still fugly but has some features the Tikka doesn't and I paid more so it makes it better LOL...

I was looking at AVs. Good price.

How would a Sako Finnlight in 270 WSM compare with a Tikka T3 light in the same caliber? Would anyone have the Finnlight accuritized?

I love the Finnlights, BUT from my point of view not being on easy street. I can have two SS Tikka's for the price of one Sako, they shoot about the same, weigh about the same....so...I'll take a .223 & a 308 :D

I can't comment on the 270WSM but my Sako 75 Finnlight 300WSM will put 3 rounds of Federal Premiums (factory 165gr TSX) into 1-1/4" at 175 yards. This is also with a stock rifle, no tweeking necessary.

I've owned 5 Sako's and two Tikka's and never had to do anything to them except adjust the triggers the way I like them. Sako's are far nicer rifles than Tikka's, but Tikka's work great too.

I have a finnlight in 25-06 that will do 5/8 5 shots @ 100 yrds ...... I couldn't ever do any better with any rifle....no "accurizing" needed with these guns
