I recently picked up some 115gr Fiocchi fmj for the range this weekend. I have an XD9 and from what I hear, the Fiocchi 115 is pretty good range ammo so I don't anticipate any problems with it. The fellow that I bought the ammo from, says that he has 123gr coming in a couple of months. Should I wait for the 123 to buy in bulk? Does anybody have any opinions on Fiocchi ammo in general and the 123gr in particular? Also, does anybody have any experience with Fiocchi hollowpoints? I can't seem to find much info about them. Thanks for any responses, in advance. - D

I've used Fiocchi .45 RN and 9mm HP: not a single problem in either my USP or Beretta. Oh, and it's clean ammo as well. Give it a shot ;)

Speaking of Fiocchi 9mm, I'm beginning to run out: who currently stocks this in the national capital region? :)

There was a recent recall on some of the 9MM FMJ..
If you have any sitting in storage, it would be worthwhile checking to see if it's included... You'll have to check with their ?website for lot numbers...
As well, all of the Fiocchi fodder is loaded pretty stiff for factory ammo....

I shot 100 rounds of the 115gr this morning and it worked flawlessly, so I bought some more. I will try out the 123gr when it comes in. Sorry Soli, I can't help you with the Ottawa area, but around Vancouver, Lock Stock and Barrel have it. I checked the recalled serial numbers and mine is OK, I just bought it recently.
