I don't know what the Fiocchi primers sell for now, but I picked up two cases of 5K/4500 each about twenty five years ago.
There were 250 primers per sleeve in the small rifle primers and 150 per sleeve in the large rifle primers.
I won't embarrass you with what I paid for them.
I picked them up when shooting a 6PPC. The primer pockets in the Norma cases were sloppy with CCI primers, and the slightly larger diameter Fioochi fit snugly, but deeper into the pockets.
I ended up using them exclusively for that rifle and later for a single shot 218Bee, because they were very consistent in burn rates with the powders I was using at the time. I've got about 1K left, and still use them in the Bee.
I wouldn't say they're more consistent than CCI, which are pretty hard to beat, but they're at least as good.
The large rifle primers gave me some issues when trying to use them in North American manufactured cases. They aren't quite as thick as NA made primers and again, slightly larger.
I had some issues with one of the match rifles. The firing pin had been ground for a specific depth, which was fine for CCI BR primers, but I did get a couple of unexpected FTFs with the Fioochi.
The slightly larger diameter was only an issue with Winchester cases, but Dominion and Norma cases were fine.
I found the Fioochi LR primers to be very consistent but slightly cooler burning than CCI, and they inconsistent velocities with W748 in GM Match cases for 308Win. When I switched to IMR4895, there weren't any issues, and velocities were very close between shots.
At today's prices, any good primers, most of us are familiar with, $20/100 is pretty much the going rate, before taxes.
Some of our banner sponsors, who you "should" be looking at, have them at that price.
