Hi, Becca. The ammo won't change how a choke works.
Swiped this from Midway's site. It's nonsense. A devalued shotgun has nothing to do with it. Doesn't say if it's steel or lead shot either. That only matters if you're hunting migratory birds though.

If you want a bigger pattern, use a less restrictive choke.
What shotgun do you have? It's not impossible to have changeable choke tubes put on a shotgun. Costs about $100 without the tubes. $65 to have a fixed choke barrel reamed bigger. Where you are has some to do with it too.
Depending on what shotgun you have, another barrel might be an option. It's possible to buy a barrel(not always costing a month's rent either) that is made to use interchangeable chokes too.

In Europe is one of the most popular shell for woodcock, I don't think they are stupid there.

If somebody are replying telling me that you should make the bird to fly more far, means that you never hunt woodcock or grouse before!
My question was: do you know where to find this kind of shell in Canada?

Over the years there have been many "spreader" load options for both the reloader and in factory shells. Alot of these worked well but pattern was quite thin in the centre, so make sure you pattern them in your barrel. Folks using them, myself included may have found that when out hunting and using these short range loads, birds/targets flew further away then expected and shots resulted in thin patterns and misses or wounding of a bird. If it were me, I would use a more open choke instead or a double with two diff. choke options,IMHO.

Somewhat late in my response.....nevertheless, you may wish to check with Epps since they stock Fiocchi shells and could well bring in those spreader loads if ordered.
If memory serves, there was a member (HuntOntario site) a while back with the same username who was using a Beretta Ultralite ( bottom bbl rifled ) designed for such use.
