Fire breathing monster

You don't build a gun like this for accuracy. you build it strictly for how unique and awesome it is. Anyone wondering about accuracy and muzzle velocity is completely missing the point.

Correct me if I am wrong, but could you not disconnect the stock and buffer tube, and just thread in a spacer that the bolt slides through?

Bolt action .50 bmg pistol?

Also have a law tactical ar folder I could modify so I could operate the bolt but that still leaves ALL the weight up front which wouldn't be so bad but I want non restricted.

Cool! But how is the accuracy? I would not expect anything better than a minute of a barn door, but may be wrong.

Short barrels are typically more accurate than long barrels all other factors being equal. The only thing you lose is velocity which affects long range trajectory, this one would lose a lot of velocity but the groups at 100 yards should be decent as long as all that burning powder coming out the muzzle doesn't disrupt the projectile. I think if handloads were made with a little faster powder and probably a lot less powder it would shoot pretty well within a couple hundred yards.
Why are there no videos yet? This is the most interesting useless thing I've seen in a long time :p

We were asked to do something rather unusual recently. A client wanted an 8.5" barrelled 50BMG rifle. A CQB 50 cal to be precise.
Based on a DA50 upper, new but very short barrel and significant modification to the hand guard, this is what turned out.
I have it attached to 1 my own lower for show purposes.

Let me tell you test firing it was truly a "blast"!!

Weight?

Did you somehow manage to manufacture this as NR? Or is this restricted?

She is NR. I really don't know how they would measure OAL with that stock but either way its over the min

19lbs but being so compact it shoulders nicely. I really cant wait till i can fire her.

You can not just cut a longer barrel this short, has to be a newly manufactured one at that length

You are correct.... the upper modifications cost me 3000 plus change.
